This is a lightly oxidized black tea from Hangzhou China. The curly leaves resemble fish hooks. They are thin, tender and brittle. Before infusion the tea is a rich black colour, with an aroma of red plum. The acidity and sweetness are balanced, and the tea has a lighter taste than majority of black tea. After infusion, the tea has an amber colour, clear and smooth.
Recommended Steeping Instructions:
Use about 2~3 g (2~3 tsp) per 200 ml (6 oz) water
Steep 1~2 minutes in 80 to 88 °C (176 to 190 °F) water
