Made of roasted barley. Caffeine free. The slightly bitter undertones and roast taste remind you of coffee. Some people use it to substitute coffee. Barley tea is popular in Japan, Korea and China.
You can brew it cold or hot. To make barley tea you can either steep it or simmer it for several minutes with simmering bring out the strongest taste. Some people like to add sugar to it.
Steep 3~5 minutes in 90~100 °C (194~ 212 °F) water
